TIME OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: 1989

Brief Description: Mr. Canning was involved with the Discovery Center of Idaho and was the project lead for a bridge for the center that received an “Award of Merit” for an Engineered Timber Bridge in 1990. Mr. Canning and B. & A. Engineers, Inc. performed project site design, surveying, and construction period services for the Discovery Center Pedestrian/Light Vehicular Bridge which connected Julia Davis Park with Myrtle Street in downtown Boise. Mr. Canning received the Idaho Society of Professional Engineers Special Award for Project Coordinator for the Discovery Center Bridge Project in 1988-1989.
