PILGRIM COVE CAMP – UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
McCall, Idaho

TIME OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: 2004

Brief Description: The church camp had outgrown its aging kitchen and dining facility. The dining hall was replaced with a new lodge building that expanded the use of the camp to year round use. The project was preceded by a twenty year master plan for the entire facility. The lodge was opened in the summer of 2004.

B & A Engineers, Inc. performed all civil engineering services for the master plan and the new lodge building. Work included representation of the client at numerous city meetings and public hearings regarding land use and water and sewer issues. Specific project work included boundary and topographic surveying, grading, access roads, drainage, potable and fire suppression water supply and sanitary sewer connections. The fire suppression system included installation of a pump in Payette Lake. B & A Engineers, Inc. assisted in acquiring the permits from the State Land Department. The potable water system required installing a new well and pipeline distribution system.
