ELK FLATS CAMPGROUND AREA
Boise National Forest
Featherville, Idaho

TIME OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:

Brief Description: The area known as Elk Flats Campground was not a developed site. The Boise National Forest was concerned about the continued unrestricted use of the area and the damage that may be caused by its users. The Forest Service commissioned a master plan to envision a developed camping area for the site.

B & A Engineers, Inc. was involved in the process as a consultant with Beck & Baird, Landscape Architects. Our involvement was primarily topographic surveying and coordinating aerial mapping work. We also provided input for the planning of water supply and wastewater facilities.
