TYPICAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

THE SUBDIVISION PROCESS INVOLVES (may vary depending on city or county):

Performing a boundary survey and limited topography survey of the site

Preparing preliminary and final plats of project with exhibits for submittal

Attending various agency pre-application meetings

Attending City or County Planning and Zoning Commission hearing(s)

Attending City Council hearing(s)

Performing work to comply with specific conditions of approval

Securing approvals of all required agencies and / or entities

Installing or constructing improvements required by agencies and / or entities

Securing signatures of required agencies and / or entities on the final plat

Recording final plat and any additional documentation (C. C. & R.'s, Deeds, etc.)

Expect one year (or longer) to complete the subdivision process.
